About the RPSCA

With schools, a community centre, a library, shopping and more, River Park South is a vibrant, established community in southeast Winnipeg. Click here to view the area boundaries, courtesy of Qualico Communities.

Founded in 2017, the River Park South Community Association Inc. (RPSCA) consists of a group of community-minded volunteers who came together to help foster a sense of community and make River Park South an even greater place to live.

Though only recently established, the RPSCA is beginning to plan a number of initiatives to better our community, build community spirit and give our residents a voice. We are looking for volunteers to support our efforts. Please visit the Get Involved section or contact us for more information. Check out our new sponsorship opportunitiesWith your support, we can grow the RPSCA and accomplish great things in our neighbourhood!

Chair – Nicole Hacault

A realtor with a passion for helping people (and an addiction to chocolate!), Nicole moved to the area with her family in late 2017. As the RPSCA’s volunteer director, she works hard to help foster a sense of community and assist in planning neighbourhood events. In her spare time, Nicole enjoys summer activities – like camping or visiting the beach or cabin – with her husband and two children.

eva-trachtenbergSpecial events director – Eva Trachtenberg

Eva is a busy mother of four who recently moved to River Park South with her family. As the RPSCA’s special events director, she plans events that can help bring the neighbourhood together. On top of her penchant for event planning, Eva has an appreciation for Winnipeg summers, a good dessert and martial arts (not necessarily in that order).

Secretary – Laura Rivers

The newest addition to the RPSCA team, Laura Rivers first moved to the area in 2007. As RPSCA secretary, she looks forward to keeping the team organized and getting to know her neighbours. A senior analyst, Laura enjoys exploring the neighbourhood with her children and has an affinity for pelicans – fitting, given the birds have adopted the community as their new hangout.
